We
did “Help Create a Huge Stir” {as the Macmillan World’s
Biggest Coffee Morning Logo) by raising £4,698.04 in an amazing
way & had incredible fun - and Marks & Spencer have
have also fund-match us to the tune of £3,000.00
making a Grand Total of £7,698.04 raised in 2008 - absolutely
fantastic!
Wish to thank everyone who supported the day’s events so generously
– enjoying the Pamper treats, networking, & the atmosphere
at Bradford Golf Club’s superb location, even a mixed Putting
Competition won by Carolyn Townsley of Business Link. Mr Bill Baker
gave a very entertaining insight into the “Lighter side of
banking”.
20 Auction & Prize Draw prizes were donated included Datzi Eyewear
makeover, Virgin Balloon flight, Chequered Flag Karting experience
with 80 tombola prizes including vouchers for local hotels &
restaurants, Foodie gifts & Pamper trearts even a £450
Sure Slim Package. The day was kind to us allowing guests to spill
out on to the terrace.

Worker Bexley wing St James Hospital spent the morning explaining
Macmillan Scope through the area.
A presentation to representatives of Macmillan Caner Support was
held on Sunday 19th Oct . – another fun event at the Ings
Pub Guiseley where the donations were swelled to the final fantastic
figure which was over 3 times the amount raised in 2007 - thank
you everyone!.
